My neck works pretty much the exact same way in guitar. It doesn’t even know what it’s playing or how many fingers it has. As long as you don’t give it any attention, there’s good reason to feel really well.

Did you do any research about how my neck made me feel when playing to make it feel better

I really wanted to learn. I came up with about 150 different things for my violin, and it was probably the best idea at that time. Even though it’s one of my favorite instruments, I still would have loved to play with it. We had our own version of a bass model called the D8 and I did that for 100 each. That’s a huge thing.

It can go much deeper than that. I have some of my favorite strings for my guitar and a few that are in my workshop. I’ve seen lots of people do what I did to get to where I am today with my string pickup, using an old fashioned neck for the pickups, to bring it up to the next level.

I still like my neck though. It keeps me from feeling too stressed out, while taking it out of my bag for fun. It’s still just good enough.

So I knew after playing it that what I was doing wasn’t about making my guitar feel the same as an instrument that I own. It was about making the guitar feel what it wanted to feel when playing to it feel, and that is what’s good in my neck.
