I know I should. I’ve learned a lot of good material as a violinist and I feel it’s something I’m always interested in. In fact, I believe it might be my most interesting subject for teaching and it would likely be the first, if not the only, I would try to teach. To me, it’s simply so fun to teach and I’ve been wanting to teach for some time now. I’m really happy with my new school The students are such amazing. The kids are really wonderful. The faculty are so amazing. It’s been a wonderful experience to be able to teach and to have so many people to make a big difference and it’s really been incredible. It’s been pretty rewarding. But I never really thought much about doing a full concert or anything like that. I just started the course as a substitute teacher (not on guitar but at a school) in 2001. I was fortunate enough to work that day because I loved to sing and play with all of the students and it really taught me how to play my instrument.
So, I just wanted to know, can you tell me what I should teach you and what your goals are Or is it simply a question of a lack of training
There’s also one element that can be pretty confusing when it comes to teaching at Cornell, as I’ll explain later on in this part, though I’ve also been involved with many other orchestras (including my college band) and I’ve known some of them and heard them speak about violin. The question is will they Is it really my goal to teach violin Or is it just a curiosity, a curiosity, or something to get away from And is it actually something that makes me want to be a violinist, or is it just something that would be beneficial to me playing I’ve certainly seen some people say that I just wanna give everything I’ve got, but as a violinistactress, it doesn’t really make a difference in what you learn. I wanted to try my best to be a violinist that I didn’t think I would ever be good at, that’s for sure.
My goal is to keep this topic open for people to interact and learn with. So, I hope you like this part of this discussion and hope to hear from us. Please leave comments below or by e-mailing supportcornellmusicians.org
