VORAC is one of those instruments that Yamaha decided to build into their synthesizers over the following years. When the new Yamaha VORAC was released in 1985, the production company in the U.S. could only afford to use only one (usually an external synthesizer, such as, say, the D-Link). But, with the advent of the MIDI system and a new computer, Yamaha decided to build a VORAC synthesizer.
