Terry Fator (5 million) The No. 31 overall pick in the 2011 draft. Fator has represented his country at every level of national team soccer over his 20 seasons, serving as the country’s all-time leading scorer with 16 goals and 17 assists from 21 matches and making nearly 5,000 appearances as a professional player. His playing time is short, but he’s still the No. 1 goal scorer on the team, which has had two players named in the Super Rugby Championship for the last five seasons, and has scored more goals this season than every team in his country ever combined.
Lamar Agincourt (No. 26) Agincourt, who played seven years in the CFL with the Edmonton Eskimos prior to playing for the Seattle Reign as a rookie in 1989, earned the No. 31 spot for the 2012 season after leading the St. John’s Blades to a 3-0, 4-0 Division I title and the Canadian Women’s National Team’s first-ever medal.
Nina Arshavin (No. 7) An unrestricted free agent after joining the Lions, Arshavin was selected in the first round (95th overall) of the 2013 CFL Draft that year for her strong foot ability and ability to win battles.
Torey Krug (No. 7) One of the world’s greatest goal scorers, Krug has been playing on the Lions for almost 20 years now, and he could very well be a good first season role player.
Nathan Beasley (No. 8) The No. 30 overall pick of the 2015 draft out of North Carolina, Beasley has been playing in some of the league’s top leagues in recent years, with five goals and seven assists this season after finishing with the CFL’s No. 7.
Samantha Rose (No. 9) When Rose was in a slump, the team called up her on waivers to re-sign her to a one-year deal, and she has since been rewarded with the starting number and second assist for the Lions.
Fernando Llorente (No. 19) Another young Canadian at the forefront of this year’s Lions, Llorente was drafted in the second round of the 2015 CFL Draft and is one of the most talented of the Lions’ wide receivers.
Nathan Myes (No. 23 No. 28) The Canadian national team defender has shown flashes of promise in his
