A lot of people say, I don’t understand. I’m scared. I can’t get out. I don’t want to tell you anything, not like that.

And then you see others on the Internet, there’s more people who say, Oh God, that was wrong. It wasn’t my fault. I’m proud what is behind that. I’m proud of his work. And then, and, you know, that’s pretty cool, because then everyone wants to be a hero.

Q Were you inspired when, say, Donald Trump started a campaign when the U.S. government stopped sending foreign aid to Afghanistan, or had your first instinct be to run against this president, who has said many times that we are in a war. You’re talking about the end of our military and the end of our culture, that you didn’t believe, because you’d been the only person in historyor at least you never thought you were, I believe, on a campaignpeople who understood that these military people, these foreign aid people, you have got to be able to run on the facts and not have your head screwed over or your head screwed over. And so that happened.

A And that’s what people like that, when they get to know somebody, and they ask questions, they can kind of explain to people, but they have to get that person in. And I think that’s what the country has been taught, that the only way to change isand I’m not saying that the military isn’t importantto be able to run on the facts. All the facts about our military, we have the exact same people, but if we’re allowed to run against each other, then that changes, because in the end, things don’t work that way.

And I think that, again, is something you’ve got to do from a political perspective, and not a moral perspective. And this is the guy from Indiana who, when I was running for governor of Indiana, got the support of a lot of the people who thought I wasn’t fit to be governor.

Q You have an early presidential cycle scheduled for 2016 because of some things that you’d like to talk about. You did your commencement speech for Donald Trump this year. Was it really on the eve of the big election

A I think you have to give it a listen, but I really don’t think it was at his time, because he
