The CEO of Uber who has been tapped to run the company, Jeff Dunham, said he is outraged at the suggestion that Uber should be part of that big money-raising operation, and at how little there is to be gained in doing so.

At the height of the crisis, Uber’s valuation was at 10 billion far below Uber’s current revenue rate of 24 billion. That was before a lot of people were paying up for Uber on Uber Uber’s biggest customer. In 2010, as the number of miles it took to reach customers skyrocketed, Uber’s total customer base grew to 12 million passengers.

But Uber is still struggling in its growth area. It has about 70,000 Uber customers. The startup could go bankrupt within five years and lose money, even if it does not. I think you have to look at Uber for its growth potential, explains one former Uber employee. If that fails to generate its business plan in LA, he says Uber would take what is needed in LA and turn the city into a place where people want to stay.

In an interview with Business Insider, he also says the company has no other big-name partners that has been around to offer Uber service. He has no idea what the company will offer it but, he says, the company will always explore the opportunity to build better, more reliable, and better service.
