What did you love about all the puppets

Hermano People were surprised at our creations because of how we looked and what we did. Our characters look like their real selves I don’t think of any character like that. I think it’s quite cool to be able to have an alter ego.

So what’s your process of becoming a puppeteer

Hermano My journey with this stuff started with a lot of inspiration from real puppeteers like Taz in the late 70s. I remember Taz really being a kind of a puppet character because we were able to get an audience with just something that was real, something where he could look like any part of the world around him He was quite the human being, that was really cool.

When people see these puppets, what was the reaction to see the one with a sword

Hermano I didn’t think I would ever make an episode like that. I thought I would get a bit creative and see it made in this big style. I didn’t know if that would happen

You got to make a show out of puppets

Hermano I had to be a big fan of puppets for years. And I wasn’t sure how. And when I wrote the show, I wanted to make puppeteers that could go in different parts of the world. These puppets were very big and they could turn around any time But, for me it wasn’t the time to make them for that. It didn’t really feel my style I knew where I could do something better based on what I wanted out of it.
