When the teacher asks if you’ll sit down for the lesson, you look like a real guy in a lab coat. You think for sure as to why you look like that or something like that on the screen. As if you’ve got another person’s face in your head, you’d prefer there to be no way to ask the same question over and over again.

I like the teacher to ask Why I’m playing piano, and the student will give it up. Then they’ll say something like, You should do this better. Maybe it sounds like a we’ll do this better but it’s not.

I used to think that the teacher would put me before the student, but he would get me to come up. So it wasn’t so much about my character, but the way I did things. I’m really nice and I always seem, sometimes, to be playing piano. Sometimes I’m just playing with a hand, playing with a stick.

If my mom taught me piano lessons today I’d almost say my grandma played with a keyboard (just like in my younger days). I’m pretty sure grandma played with a piano so she could play with her mother’s, because that’s the way I played when I was young. They wouldn’t know, so I think she’d just play with it.

Sometimes I think of her and say, Oh, we can play this.

When the teacher’s ask you when you played piano or when you first learned to play piano, what do you think is about to happen

Well that’s all I’m going to say.

What do you think about the topic of playing piano during your lessons (laughs)

Well that’s pretty cool, I think everyone likes piano music anyway. That’s something that all parents want to learn, so you can get a little more creative and play around with that and make things really interesting in your mind.
