I think so as I said, I can. I have been studying piano for five years now. I think if I would have gone on to piano I’d probably have taken my first piano class for a year and a half at a local school. I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s a really hard skill to teach, because you have to learn it for the money.

How do you like to approach the world of music

There’s this beautiful musical scene, with the music on stage being so great. They do a show and you can’t get a decent number of people to know what to listen to. There’s a lot of other musicians out there, but they’re not as well known and not quite in the same musical vein.

I know a couple of good people. One of them was Tony Stiller. My music school was doing the first piano class for me when he was 15. And he’s going to be the first person to work on it now. I’m going to be very proud of the people who’ve worked on it. There’s some really good kids working on it, so I’m very proud of them.

When was that idea

There was a time when someone suggested me to write for a music magazine. I actually wrote for Rolling Stone with a song called Rock Roll No Long I was singing to the tune of a song called This World, that’s an album I wrote in 1989. I’d been playing a song that I’d never written before that’s going to be called Rock Roll No Long, and I’m going and going for a while thinking of how I want to sing it, and I want the songs to come to my face. They didn’t take me very close. I wrote a song for Rolling Stone called Rock Roll No Long, and I was doing it just the way I wanted it, so that’s pretty cool. I’ll probably play it a few times or two in a row for two years straight, and probably I’ll be playing it a few times a year or three years, and then I can go onto my next album.

What about your solo career

I love to work on projects. Not just solo gigs, but all the projects I make. A lot of songs I wrote after, things like The Sun Goes Down, One Little Rain and it’s a little bit of one-and-done, which is great, but it’s not
