How do you feel about the use of an instrument

I find it fascinating how many people get into the music and not understand how the instrument works. I’m a huge fan of the traditional jazz instrument. For me, it was so unique. It sounded like a new instrument to my hearing, or an instrument that I knew well, and I thought it sounded great. I would’ve liked to continue to play jazz.

Why do you think you choose the music for the show

I feel that if the music was done well, the audience would enjoy playing it. I don’t mind if they just get up and go, but I love being able to take a look at a performance and see their reaction to it. If I had to pick between a couple of genres an acoustic jazz, orchestral jazz, or any of those genres, I’d go for an acoustic jazz because I love these things at the same time.

What inspired You to start writing your own sound

I had my mother play music at my high school in Virginia with some friends and a saxophonist named Michael. It ended up being a classic. I was working on a book about how to get my life in order with the music, making it the kind of thing that would work when I was just in elementary school. It was like an escape way to go. I couldn’t really tell what I was thinking, so I thought it would be funny at first to play a piece like that. Eventually, I thought I know what I’m doing. I’m so into it. I knew from a very young age in school, when I would play the music that it wasn’t that bad to be able to learn. It was a little better for my taste to be able to use what I learnt out in the classroom and then make it work with what I was doing at home. It allowed me to do what I wanted and make sure that it was interesting to work with.

You seem to work hard and enjoy getting out of shape and enjoying life as fast as possible. What are some of the things you love doing when you write

It’s just a pleasure to come back and have fun. You just learn at a time when you’ve been thinking about what sounds good and how to do it, so it’s just a whole different beast
