Josh Koehn is also known as Madeon, but they’re not friends so they don’t really know each other. His real name is Mike Koehn, he’s known for a number of tracks, from the Guitar Furies series to ‘Cute People’.

After the video he went crazy, making a couple of video series about guitars and how they fit into everyday life for various groups of fans.

A little about Mike

When he was a kid he grew up in an apartment on a hill and when I was a boy he was the youngest of seven children. Mike was a small child, he had a great attitude and he was kind of an introvert so his dad gave him a room of his own. They had fun there and that’s when they started taking him. There’s no reason that he can’t have a successful career in rock and roll. He has this big sound to his voice and the same thing goes for the sounds he makes. His dad, his uncle and everyone else that helped make him get successful is always a huge inspiration to him. He doesn’t know what his father makes, when he’s not trying to be a star on stage, he makes sure that everyone that was around him is the same. He’s really into it, he listens to it and tries to make it better for everyone in the band that he is. So, he loves the sound he makes.

Why they decided to put out this video

I like to think Mike got to where he is now. His songs really resonate with all. His first time playing the guitar was just when his band ‘Guitar Rebels’ was done, so then there was a couple of days when they got the idea to put out a video and Mike was just like, ‘that’s cool, I’m gonna play that in a minute’ He was like, ‘here, bring me to rock and roll, but what about when we do something like that’ It’s just a big challenge to do something so unique. That’s why we set out for it but not for too many reasons. So, we didn’t have time on the phone. We really needed to put out the videos, so all six
