Q Do you think that you should get more money from your state government

A Well, I think we do and as we think about the future of our state government, both to create jobs and fund education and education for people, I would rather we get one state and one city tax credit instead of the four I mentioned. But a state or city tax credit is important because it allows us to make it easier for people to buy things.

Q Can anybody tell me whether that is better or worse than state and city tax credits

A I mean, the tax credit for small business is something that’s out there, I don’t know, because it is what most businesses would normally accept and it is something they do. It is a very modest amountabout 5 an hour. And I mean, it doesn’t pay for itself and so it is an enormously high amount. It doesn’t go down in the national marketplace. I guess for state and municipal governments to have a tax credit on a family business that is a family-owned businessthey get it. And so they should have the tax credit. In most cases the state and the federal government are subsidizing this kind of business.

Q All of this seems pretty ridiculous, and there is so much of what Obama said, he is saying this is a good policy because, you know, we have all of these things under review. Did you hear that
